Set along the tranquil waters of Dedduwa Lake in Bentota, Lunuganga Estate is the iconic country retreat of the father of Asian Tropical Modernism, the legendary Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. Begun in 1947 and tended with passionate devotion for over fifty years, Lunuganga was Bawa's living laboratory of landscape and architectural experiments, now preserved as an ultra-exclusive heritage boutique hotel managed by Teardrop Hotels.
