98 Acres Resort & Spa

Perched dramatically on a sprawling 98-acre working tea estate in the mountain haven of Ella, 98 Acres Resort & Spa is an iconic luxury retreat celebrated worldwide for its breathtaking panoramas of Little Adam's Peak, Ella Rock, and the deep southern valleys of the Ella Gap.

Eco-Chic Chalets & Uninterrupted Panoramas

Constructed with profound sensitivity to the mountain landscape, 98 Acres uses recycled railway sleepers, rough granite, and thatch to create rustic, eco-chic chalets. Each suite features private balconies with unobstructed panoramic views, polished teak floors, and expansive stone bathrooms. Premium suites boast private plunge pools and heated Jacuzzis perched high over the misty tea valleys.

Cliffside Pool, Spa 98 & Ceylon Gastronomy

The resort's outdoor swimming pool appears suspended over the valley, offering an extraordinary vantage point for sunrise swims or sunset cocktails. Adjacent to the pool sits Spa 98, offering Ayurvedic body therapies and herbal stone treatments overlooking tea bushes. The open-air Restaurant 98 celebrates authentic Sri Lankan delicacies, gourmet curries, and Western fine dining paired with an extensive international wine list.
